Tachograph download checker
Enter the date of the last driver card download and the last vehicle unit download to see when the next ones are due, and whether you’ve missed one. Nothing you type leaves your device.
The download rules
- Driver cards: download at least every 28 calendar days, and on the driver’s last day with you.
- Vehicle units: download at least every 90 calendar days, including spare and seasonal vehicles that rarely move.
- Download as often as you need to so no data is lost. A card holds roughly 28 days of average activity before it overwrites the oldest data.
- Keep the downloaded data for at least 12 months and be able to show it to DVSA.
